120155014M_Closure Letter_ 11242015_text.pdf, page 1Official PDFOVERNIGHT EXPRESS DELIVERY November 24, 2015 Mr. Peter Pirog Vice President & General Manager MIPC, LLC 920 Cherry Tree Road Aston, PA 19014 CPF 1-2015-5014M Dear Mr. Pirog: From April 21 through April 25, 2014, a representative of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code inspected MIPC, LLC’s (MIPC) procedures for Operations and Maintenance in Aston, Pennsylvania. As a result of the inspection, MIPC was issued a Notice of Amendment (NOA). MIPC responded with revised procedures in a letter, dated September 30, 2015. On October 27, 2015, PHMSA responded with a request for further revision to MIPC’s Operations & Maintenance Manual (O&M). MIPC, LLC submitted newly amended procedures on November 23, 2015. My staff has reviewed the amended procedures, and it appears that the inadequacies outlined in this NOA have been corrected. This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you for your cooperation.
