Box 35236 Sarasota, FL 34242 CPF 2-2005-6010 Dear Mr. Rose: On February 8, 2005, representatives of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS), Southern Region, pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code, conducted an inspection of the Tampa Bay Pipeline Company’s Integrity Management Program (IMP) for the anhydrous ammonia pipeline system located in Hillsborough and Polk Counties, Florida. As a result of the pipeline inspection, PHMSA issued a Notice of Amendment (NOA) on May 17, 2005. This letter is to inform you that Tampa Bay Pipeline Company has complied with the terms of the NOA. No further action is necessary with regards to the NOA and this case is now closed. Please be advised that there is at least one other PHMSA case pending with regards to the above referenced pipeline system and that this letter refers only to the NOA (re: CPF 2-2005- 6010) and not to any other PHMSA pending cases. Also be advised that nothing herein states or implies that the above described IMP meets the requirements of the federal pipeline safety regulations or that the IMP is approved.
