220100001S_Closure Letter_07222011_text.pdf, page 1Official PDFJUL 22 2011 Ms. Aneice R. Liddell Mayor City of Moss Point 4412 Denny St. Moss Point, MS 39563 Re: CPF No. 2-2010-0001S Dear Mayor Liddell: On October 24, 2010, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) issued a Notice of Proposed Safety Order (Notice) to the City of Moss Point. The Notice proposed that the City of Moss Point take certain corrective measures to address integrity risks on its Moss Point and Escatawpa natural gas distribution systems. Subsequent to the Notice, an informal consultation was held in Moss Point on December 15, 2010. As a result of that informal consultation, a Consent Agreement to address the pipeline safety concerns in the Notice was agreed to and signed by the City of Moss Point and the Mississippi Public Service Commission (MPSC). Since the City of Moss Point will complete the work required to address the integrity threats and bring these pipeline systems into compliance there is no need to take further action in this matter. Accordingly, this case is now closed. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Sincerely, Jeffrey D.
