McGill President Enbridge Energy Parhrers, LP 1100 L.ouisiana, Suite 3300 Houston, TX77002 cPF 3-2007-1003w Dear Mr. McGill: On October 17 -20,2005 and November 20-21,2005, a representative of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code inspected your records and facilities for Enbridge Energy's Vector Pipeline in Illinois and Indiana. As a result of the inspection, it appears that you have committed a probable violation of the Pipeline Safety Regulations, Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations. The item inspected and the probable violation is: 1. S192.475 Internal corrosion control: General (b) Whenever any pipe is removed from a pipeline for any reason, the internal surface must be inspected for evidence ofcorrosion. Ifinternal corrosion is found- (1) The adjacent pipe must be investigated to determine the extent of internal corrosion: Intemal inspection was performed, but not documented on the Crete Meter Station hot tap oerformed on 3 / | 8 / 2002.#
