One Williams Center MD 27 Tulsa, Oklahoma 74172 CPF 3-2009-5017M Dear Mr. Davied: On September 17-18, 2008, representatives from the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), pursuant to chapter 601 of 49 United States Code, conducted an on-site pipeline safety inspection of Magellan Pipeline Company, L.P operator qualification procedures in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a result of the inspection, Magellan Pipeline Company, L.P was issued a Notice of Amendment on December 23, 2008, which proposed amendment of your procedures. Magellan Pipeline Company, L.P submitted its amended procedures on November 18, 2009. My staff reviewed the amended procedures and subsequent revisions, and it appears that the inadequacies outlined in this Notice of Amendment have been corrected. This letter is to inform you no further action is necessary and this case is now closed. Thank you for your cooperation.
