420141004_Closure Letter_06172014_text.pdf, page 1Official PDFCERTIFIED MAIL - RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED June 17, 2014 Mr. Chris Bullock Director, DOT Compliance Enable Gas Transmission, LLC Enable Mississippi River Transmission, LLC 525 Milam Street Shreveport, LA 71101 CPF 4-2014-1004 Dear Mr. Bullock: On September 9-12, 2013, representatives of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) pursuant to Chapter 601 of 49 United States Code inspected the Enable Gas Transmission, LLC/Enable Mississippi River Transmission, LLC (Enable) Control Room Management Program and Control Room facilities. Enable was formerly known as Centerpoint Energy Gas Transmission Co. and Mississippi River Transmission Co. As a result of the inspection, Enable was issued a Notice of Probable Violation with Proposed Compliance Order on April 1, 2014. On April 30, 2014, Enable requested a 30-day time extension to June 1, 2014 for responding to the Notice. At that time, Enable informed PHMSA they were contesting Item 1, but were not requesting an oral hearing. PHMSA granted the extension on May 6, 2014. On June 2, 2014, PHMSA received the Enable response to case CPF 4-2014-1004. PHMSA has reviewed the response with attachments and has decided to withdraw Item 1 and the Compliance Order from the case. Item 2 will remain as a Warning item.
