Box 196660, MS 502 Anchorage, AK 99519-6660 RE: Closure of Corrective Action Order CPF 5-2010-5017H Dear Mr. Joynor: On May 27, 2010, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) issued a Corrective Action Order (CAO) in the above-referenced case. The CAO required Alyeska Pipeline Service Company (Alyeska) to take corrective actions on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and at Pump Station 9 (PS09) to protect public property and the environment from the hazards associated with the operation of your hazardous liquids pipeline system. Having reviewed the records and the work performed on TAPS at PS09, PHMSA has determined that Alyeska has satisfactorily complied with the terms of the CAO. Therefore, in accordance with Item 7 of the CAO, I approve the submissions and this case is now closed. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Sincerely, Chris Hoidal Director, Western Region Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration cc: PHP-60 Compliance Registry PHP-Alaska (#130193)#
