Cause detail: THE INITIAL INVESTIGATION INDICATES THAT A BURIED 30 INCH SCRUBBER INLET HEADER RUPTURED DUE TO INTERNAL PITTING. ESCAPING GAS IGNITED AND CAUSED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE COMPRESSOR STATION FACILITIES.
