Cause detail: INTERNAL CORROSION

Cause detail: GAS BUBBLING DISCOVERED AND IDENTIFIED AS ORIGINATING FROM TARGA'S PIPELINE OFFSHORE LOUISIANA IN WEST CAMERON188. THE PIPELINE WAS REPAIRED BY INSTALLATION OF A BOLTED CLAMP. TH INSTALLATION OF THE CLAMP WAS COMPLETED ON 7/3/2012 AT 900 HOURS. ALTHOUGH THE APPARENT CAUSE SELECTED IN THE REPORT IS MICROBIOLOGICAL, THIS CANNOT BE DETERMINED TO BE THE ACTUAL CAUSE DUE TO THE FACT THAT AN INTERNAL INSPECTION OF THE PIPELINE AT THE LOCATION OF THE INCIDENT WAS NOT COMPLETED.
