Cause detail: TENNESSEE GAS PIPELINE (TGP) OPERATIONS AND GAS CONTROL PERSONNEL NOTICED A PRESSURE DROP NEAR BATESVILLE COMPRESSOR STATION (STATION 63) NEAR BATESVILLE, MS, ON NOVEMBER 21, 2011. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, TGP WAS NOTIFIED BY A MEMBER OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT A LEAK JUST DOWNSTREAM OF THE COMPRESSOR STATION. THE GAS IGNITED AND ALTHOUGH SEVERAL HOMES WERE EVACUATED, NO DAMAGE WAS INCURRED BY THE STRUCTURES. THE LEAK WAS ISOLATED, THE FIRE EXTINGUISHED, WITH NO INJURIES OR FATALITIES. A ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS WAS PERFORMED WITH THE RESULTS NOW ADDED TO THIS REPORT IN PART G.
