Cause detail: DEFECTIVE OR LOOSE TUBING OR FITTING
Cause detail: TUBING ON A PUMP FAILED RESULTING IN A LOSS OF APPROXIMATELY 3 BBLS. THE FAILURE WAS IDENTIFIED BY LOCAL OPERATING PERSONNEL. THE CONTROL CENTER WAS IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED AND THE UNIT SHUTDOWN. THE RELEASED CRUDE OIL WAS CONFINED TO OPERATOR PROPERTY AND CLEANED UP PROMPTLY. THE PUMP WAS REPAIRED AND THE UNIT RESTARTED.
