Cause detail: INTERNAL CORROSION
Cause detail: OFFSHORE LOUISIANA PRODUCTION PLATFORM PERSONNEL SAW BUBBLES IN THE VICINITY OF TENNESSEE GAS PIPELINE'S (TGP) 524J-100 PIPELINE IN SOUTH TIMBALIER BLOCK 37. TGP GAS CONTROL WAS NOTIFIED AND CONSEQUENTLY ADVISED TGP FIELD PERSONNEL WHO DISPATCHED DIVERS TO INVESTIGATE. DIVERS FOUND A PINHOLE LEAK ON THE PIPELINE IN THE 6 O'CLOCK POSITION, THOUGHT TO HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY INTERNAL CORROSION. THE PIPELINE WAS REPAIRED BY CLAMP INSTALLATION AND PLACED BACK INTO SERVICE.
