Cause detail: INTERNAL CORROSION
Cause detail: INDICATIONS OF BUBBLES ON THE SURFACE OF THE WATER IN WEST CAMERON BLOCK 513 WERE REPORTED BY A NEARBY PLATFORM OPERATOR AT 9:15 AM ON DECEMBER 19, 2010. UPON INVESTIGATION, IT WAS DETERMINED THE LEAK WAS CAUSED BY A PINHOLE RESULTING FROM INTERNAL CORROSION. A LEAK CLAMP WAS INSTALLED AS A PERMANENT REPAIR AT A COST OF $500,000.
