Cause detail: ON 2/12/2024 AT 10:15 AM CST, THIRD PARTY NOTIFIED ENTERPRISE OF CRUDE OIL RELEASE COMING FROM A CRACKED SOC-O-LET WELD ON 1 INCH RELIEF PIPE AT CHEVRON CMC 17 STATION; 1 BARREL OF CRUDE OIL REACHED THE GROUND. THE AREA WAS REMEDIATED AND AFFECTED PIPE SPOOL WAS ISOLATED, REMOVED, REPAIRED, AND RETURNED TO SERVICE. THE PULSATION DAMPENERS WERE EXCHANGED ON A STATION PUMP TO EXCLUDE POSSIBILITY OF FUTURE VIBRATION RELATED ISSUES.
