Cause detail: AT 11:30 CST ON 01/18/2018 ONEOK GAS TRANSPORTATION (OGT) PIPELINE OPERATOR RECEIVED A CALL FROM LOCAL DISTRIBUTION COMPANY EMPLOYEE. HE STATED THAT OGT HAD GAS POSSIBLY EMERGING FROM THE GROUND WEST OF PIG BARREL ON A-1100 WEST 16, AT F-JUNCTION, NEAR NEWCASTLE, OK. OGT PIPELINE OPERATOR CONTACTED PIPELINE CONTROL AND OPERATIONS PERSONNEL WERE IMMEDIATELY DISPATCHED TO LOCATION. LEAK WAS VERIFIED AND OGT NOTIFIED OKLAHOMA CORPORATION COMMISSION. NO RESIDENCES, STRUCTURES OR PUBLIC SPACES WERE IMPACTED BY THE NATURAL GAS. THE PIPELINE PRESSURE WAS LOWERED FROM 667 PSIG TO 532 PSIG AND CONTINUED TO FEED CUSTOMERS. OGT OPERATIONS PERSONNEL STARTED EXCAVATING FOR THE REPAIR ON 01/18/2018. THE SITE WAS EXCAVATED AND A PIPELINE DRIP (LEAK LOCATION) WAS REMOVED AND A NEW SECTION OF PIPE WAS INSTALLED. THE PIPELINE WAS RETURNED TO REGULAR SERVICE ON 01/20/2018.
