Cause detail: AN AUTO RAN OFF BURNHAM ROAD, JUMPED THE DITCH, EJECTING A PASSENGER AND CAUSING HER DEATH. THE CAR CONTINUED ON, RUNNING THROUGH A FENCE, HITTING A GAS METER SET, SEVERING THE METER SET ABOVE THE SHUT-OFF VALVE, AND CAUSING A RELEASE OF NATURAL GAS. THE RELEASE OF NATURAL GAS WAS NOT A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR IN THE DEATH. HOWEVER, THIS REPORT IS BEING SUBMITTED SINCE THERE WAS A DEATH AS A RESULT OF THE AUTO ACCIDENT AND A RELEASE OF NATURAL GAS.
