Cause detail: INTERNAL CORROSION
Cause detail: ON 7/7/23 AT APPROXIMATELY 12:20, OPERATIONS DISCOVERED A LEAK ON THE EOCS CRUDE SYSTEM. THE CONTROL CENTER WAS CALLED TO SHUTDOWN THE SYSTEM AND THE RELEASE WAS SECURE AT 19:00. OPERATIONS VERIFIED THE LEAK WAS COMING FROM THE TRIPLE H (B-4) 6-INCH GATHERING LINE THAT DELIVERS INTO NAPLES TERMINAL. AN ESTIMATED 25 BARRELS OF CRUDE OIL WAS RELEASED, WITH 1 BARREL REACHING AN UNNAMED TRIBUTARY TO EAST BITTER CREEK. CLEANUP CREWS BOOMED THE CREEK AND USED A VAC TRUCK TO RECOVERY FREE PRODUCT. A PLIDCO CLAMP WAS INSTALLED ON 7/7. THE NDE SCAN DETERMINED THE CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT WAS DUE TO INTERNAL CORROSION.
