Cause detail: SEAL ON A PUMP FAILED DUE TO PIPE VIBRATIONS RESULTING IN A LOSS OF 0.5 BBLS. THE FAILURE WAS IDENTIFIED BY LOCAL OPERATING PERSONNEL. THE CONTROL CENTER WAS IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED UNIT SHUTDOWN. THE RELEASED CRUDE OIL WAS CONFINED TO THE OPERATOR PROPERTY AND CLEANED UP PROMPTLY. THE SEAL WAS REPAIRED AND THE UNIT RESTARTED.
