Cause detail: ON TUESDAY 10/8/91 AT APPROXIMATELY 2:40 P.M., WHILE PROCEEDING TO UPRATE A 120 PSI DESIGN GAS MAIN FROM 100 PSI TO 120PSI, MULTIPLE FAILURES OCCURED IN THE AREA OF THE METER SET AT THE GARDEN STATE PAPER CO., #141 LANZA AVE., GARFIELD. THE ESCAPING GAS IGNITED AND EXTENSIVE DAMAGED RESULTED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES.
