Cause detail: A SHRIMPER'S NET OR AN ANCHOR APPARENTLY SNAGGED A SUB-SEA ASSEMBLY, UNDER THE VALVE GUARD AT SIDE VALVE 523M-601, IN SHIP SHOAL BLOCK 144, OFFSHORE GULF OF MEXICO, DAMAGING A SECTION OF 6 IN. PIPE AND CAUSING A LEAK. THE LEAK WAS REPAIRED ON 5/18/04 BY CLOSING A 12 IN. SUB-SEA BALL VALVE AND REMOVING THE DAMAGED PIPING.
