Cause detail: INTERNAL CORROSION
Cause detail: ON 8/15/23 PIPELINE OPERATOR DISCOVERED A SMALL LEAK ON THE LINDSAY 9-4 INJECTION LINE WHILE PERFORMING A ROW INSPECTION. THE OPERATOR ISOLATED THE LINE AND CONTACTED HIS SUPERVISOR. STANDING OIL ON GROUND WAS CLEANED UP THE SAME DAY, SOIL REMEDIATION WAS COMPLETED 8/16/23. THE LEAK WAS CAUSED BY INTERNAL CORROSION. THE PIPELINE IS NOW BEING TREATED WITH CORROSION INHIBITOR AND HAS COUPON MONITORING.
