Generic shipping descriptions (e.g., Paint related material) are appropriate for materials not specifically listed by technical name in the § 172.101 Table. Acetone is specifically listed by name in the § 172.101 Table. Therefore, the appropriate description for acetone is "Acetone, 3, UN1090, PGII."
