PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC CO — Integrity Assurance Notification
MAOP RECONFIRMATION METHOD 6Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has performed an engineering critical assessment (ECA) of the joints at its Vine Hill Meter Station (Vine Hill Station) to reconfirm Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP). This station is in Martinez, California and provides regulated gas to Concord and Pleasant Hill. PG&E’s initial phase of this project identified all traceable, verifiable, and complete (TVC) records to validate MAOP based on design and pressure test records. Two (2) joints, comprising of fittings, at the Vine Hill Station were identified as having non-TVC records of a pressure test. These joints are not located in a High Consequence Area (HCA) or Moderate Consequence Area (MCA). They are located in a Class 3 location. PG&E proposes to establish TVC MAOP records via 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 192.624 (c) 6 method 6#
