DISCOVERY BEYOND 180 DAYS HCASouth Bow Infrastructure Operations Inc. (OPID 32334) would like to inform you that following receipt of an ILI report for a metal-loss/geometry inspection completed on KS9 (Missouri, Illinois), on May 26, 2024, the reported geometry data may have associated sizing challenges with a bias towards under-sizing. Consequently, and to no fault of South Bow, discovery of a condition relevant to the geometry data of this inspection may exceed the 180-day threshold, in the event that potential under-sizing of the geometry feature depth is of relevance to the response condition, which is the purpose of this notification in accordance with CFR Part 195.452(h)(2). Note that the metal-loss data of this inspection is not affected and will be responded to within the 180-day threshold (i.e., by Nov 22, 2024), in accordance with CFR Part 195.452(h)(2). South Bow continues to respond to the as-reported geometry feature population in accordance with regulatory requirements.#
