NUSTAR PIPELINE OPERATING PARTNERSHIP L.P. — Integrity Assurance Notification

PRESSUREThis is a notification of a Long-Term Pressure Reduction under 49 CFR § 195.452 (h)(1) (ii). On April 18, 2024, Sunoco L.P. implemented a pressure reduction on the Peace Valley to Salem 10” pipeline segment at the Franklin Pump Station in response to anomalies that were not remediated by their due date. The Peace Valley to Salem 10” pipeline segment is located in the state of Missouri. Reasons for Delay: The remediation efforts have been postponed due to the anomaly's location and the unsafe working conditions in the surrounding surface area. This decision prioritizes the safety of our workers, aims to prevent any potential damage to the landowner's property, and ensures that we uphold our commitment to responsible and effective environmental management. Further Remedial Actions: On April 17, 2025, Sunoco took further remedial action by implementing an additional 10% pressure reduction (from 1,200 psi to 1,080 psi) at the location of the anomalies. In addition, Sunoco performed calculations to ensure that the safe pressure of the anomalies remained above the reduced maximum operating pressure.
