TICONA POLYMERS INC — Integrity Assurance Notification

REPAIRTicona Polymers, Inc. (“Ticona”) is providing notice to the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s Office of Pipeline Safety (“PHMSA”) and the Texas Railroad Commission, Pipeline Safety Division (“RRC”) that Ticona cannot meet the schedule for remediation of two 180-day conditions and cannot provide safety through a temporary reduction in operating pressure, as required by 49 C.F.R. §195.452(h)(1)(i). Ticona completed a successful in-line inspection (ILI) (Direct Magnetic Response and UT/XYZ) assessment on March 07, 2025. The ILI vendor provided the assessment report on June 26, 2025. Ticona contracted a 3rd party to perform a post ILI regulatory compliance and integrity assessment, to ensure adequate information to determine which anomalies present a potential threat to the integrity of the pipeline and to adequately schedule remediations. The results of the study for the anomalies that met the criteria per §195.452(h)(4)) were provided to Ticona on August 4, 2025. The final analysis for all anomalies was provided on October 31, 2025. August 4, 2025, is considered the Date of Discovery for all anomalies meeting the criteria per 49 C.F.R. §195.452(h)(4)).#
