MAGNOLIA OIL AND GAS — Integrity Assurance Notification

COMPOSITE MATERIALS TYPE CMagnolia Oil and Gas Operating LLC (Magnolia) is providing this notification under 49 C.F.R. § 192.9(h) of its intent to use composite pipe material manufactured by FlexSteel USA, Inc. (FlexSteel) in a Type C onshore gas gathering line in the STATE OF TEXAS. Operators have previously submitted notifications under § 192.9(h) to use FlexSteel pipe in at least five (5) other Type C onshore gas gathering lines. As recently as 2025, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) issued letters informing these operators that it had no objection to those notifications, provided they implemented supplemental procedures for the use of composite pipe.#
