SUNOCO PIPELINE L.P. — Integrity Assurance Notification

DISCOVERY BEYOND 180 DAYS HCASunoco Pipeline L.P. (“SPLP”) (OPID 18718) submits this written notification to PHMSA as directed by § 195.452(h)(2) regarding discovery of a condition that will exceed 180 days for the 21023.01 8” Hebert to Center refined products pipeline segment. The final vendor report was delayed due to multiple unsuccessful tool runs which, combined with tool performance issues and operational constraints which further complicated assessment execution. The successful tool run was completed on November 14, 2025 utilizing ultrasonic wall measurement (UTWM), deformation (DEF) with inertial measurement unit (IMU) ILI technology. Additional review of the collected data was needed before the run could be accepted, further delaying the vendor’s evaluation. SPLP anticipates adequate information to be available not later than June 10, 2026. Upon receipt of the final report, SPLP will promptly analyze all reported features in accordance with its Integrity Management Plan and 49 C.F.R. 195.452 and schedule any required responses, investigations, or repairs.#
