SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GAS CO — Integrity Assurance Notification

REASSESSMENT INTERVAL ABOVE 30% SMYSIn accordance with 49 CFR § 192.939(a)1 and PHMSA Gas Transmission IM FAQ-2812, Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) is requesting a six-month extension of the seven-calendar year reassessment interval for the onshore, intrastate pipeline summarized below. The reassessment for the high consequence area (HCA) segments associated with Pipeline 1004 are due by December 31, 2026. An extension is being requested in the event that unanticipated delays are encountered that push completion of the requirements—which are currently estimated to be completed by the end of 2026—into 2027. SoCalGas has determined that an extension will not compromise safety and supporting justification is provided herein, as referenced in FAQ’s 281 and 282.#
