ACCEPTABLE STANDARDS

(1)Unless otherwise specified by the Commission, the utility shall use the applicable provisions in the publications listed below as standards of accepted good practice.#

(a)The current edition of the USA Standard Code for Gas Transmission and Distribution Piping Systems, USAS B31.8, 1968.#

(b)The latest edition of the American Standard Installation of Gas Appliances and Gas Piping, USAS Z21.30, 1964.#

(c)The current edition of the National Fire Protection Association, No. 58, “The Storage and Handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gases.”#

(d)Standard methods for testing pipeline displacement gas meters as indicated in the American Meter Co. Handbook.#

(e)“Testing Large Capacity Rotary Gas Meters,” Research Paper No.1741, National Bureau of Standards Journal of Research, September, 1946.#
