Corrosion monitoring remedial action

(a)The prompt remedial action required pursuant to 49 CFR 192.465(d), as amended from time to time, shall occur in a reasonably expedited manner and in no case later than the next regularly scheduled test, survey, inspection or check, unless an extension is approved by the Authority in writing.#

(b)The prompt remedial action required pursuant to 49 CFR 192.465(d), as amended from time to time, for separately protected short sections of Mains, not in excess of 100 feet, or separately protected Service Lines, shall occur not later than 1 year after the deficiency is discovered.#
