Public awareness

(a)Each Operator shall affix and maintain markers that comply with 49 CFR 192.707(d), as amended from time to time, in a readily visible location on or near:#

(1)Gate Stations;#

(2)District Regulator Stations; and#

(3)buildings or structures used in the Transportation Of Gas.#

(b)Each Operator shall affix and maintain in a legible condition, the name of the Operator and an emergency telephone number on each of the following:#

(1)Customer Meter;#

(2)Telemetry Equipment; and#

(3)cathodic protection rectifiers.#

(c)Any incorrect Operator name or emergency telephone number on a Pipeline Facility shall be removed or covered by the Operator not later than 30 calendar days after it is discovered or after a change to the Operator name or emergency telephone number, except on Customer Meters where such incorrect name or emergency telephone number shall be removed or covered not later than 39 months after a change to the Operator name or emergency telephone number.#

(d)Not later than 30 calendar days after any markers are found deficient pursuant to subsections (a) or (b) of this section, such markers shall be remediated by the Operator.#
