(A)A. This Chapter prescribes minimum requirements for joining materials in pipelines, other than by welding. [49 CFR 192.271(a)]#

(B)B. This Chapter does not apply to joining during the manufacture of pipe or pipeline components. [49 CFR 192.271(b)]#
