(A)A. As used in this regulation: [49 CFR 192.15(a)]#

Includes―including but not limited to.#

May―"is permitted to" or "is authorized to;"#

May not―"is not permitted to" or "is not authorized to."#

Shall―used in the mandatory and imperative sense.#

(B)B. In Part XIII: [49 CFR 192.15(b)]#

(1)1. words importing the singular include the plural; [49 CFR 192.15(b)(1)]#

(2)2. words importing the plural include the singular; and [49 CFR 192.15(b)(2)]#

(3)3. words importing the masculine gender include the feminine. [49 CFR 192.15(b)(3)]#
